Marathon System

Marathon System (MS) is the upper stratum of IMS and other sub-systems in my work and life.

MS is based on the life principle that if you do anything positive, affirmative and constructive everyday, no matter how small, these activities will accumulate and have a mutually possible effect, and within a short time will result in the establishment of a huge accumulation of positive results without our realizing it.

There are several sub-systems of my Marathon System (MS) such as:

  1. Reading Marathon: Read Before reading any book or other reading material, I decide how many days it will take to read through.~
  2. Writing Marathon: In my case, I write essays of 1300 words (Japanese) everyday.~
  3. Travelling Marathon: Two times in a year for the past 10 years, I make an overseas journey to reestablish very old friendships of 20-25 years in overseas by visiting there.
  4. Home Education Marathon: I taught my 3 sons everyday for about 12 years at my home when we were living overseas in places where there was no Japanese school.

The MS provides training for patience and enables one to reap the fruits of patience.

I have examined the nature of students by looking at how different students in a class read the same book, and have found that they all differ in their degree of patience. With concentration, I have found that I can read 10 paperback books per day, a project that I engaged in for a creativity magazine in Japan.

Therefore, in addition to IMS, MS can be used as a method for training students and employees to read and write.
